| Project Overview
December 2008 - A committee of citizens began work with the De Pere Parks staff to discuss the design and operations of a 19 acre dog park located in an undevelopable area of the West Side Industrial Park.
April 2009 - The De Pere City Council paved the way for the dog park and granted a citizen advisory committee permission to begin fundraising. The park will be paid for through donations.
Fundraising is now on-going with the hope of raising $30,000 needed to install a fence around the 19 acre property and begin operations. |
